NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. ā The Merrimack College women's soccer team welcomes the College of Saint Rose on Saturday afternoon to Martone-Mejail Field in NE10 action. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m.
Last Time Out
- The Warriors picked up their first NE10 win of the season on Tuesday against Saint Michael's. Sophomore Hayley Oliveira (Valley Stream, N.Y.) knotted the game at one in the 66th, jumping over a crowd to head the ball into the net.
- Senior Cassie Giza (Orange, Conn.) scored the eventual game-winner in the 72nd minute on some creative passing from her teammates. Freshman Bridget Austin (East Greenbush, N.Y.) headed the ball into the box to find classmate Izzy McDonnell (Fall River, Mass.). McDonnell one-touched a pass to Giza, who fired it into the net.
- Senior keeper Molly Meehan (Fairfield, Conn.) had four saves, three of them coming in the second half.

- The Golden Knights have a 16-11-2 record against Merrimack, however the Warriors won last years' contest, 2-1, in overtime. Junior Amber Gustafson (Lancaster, Mass.) scored the game-winner a minute and a half into the extra time.
- Merrimack has 6-4-1 edge when hosting the Golden KnightsĀ all-time.

- Saint Rose comes in with a 5-0-1 record overall and a perfect 4-0 in NE10 play. They defeated Assumption, 3-2, in double-overtime on Tuesday.
- Nina Predanic leads the Golden Knights with three goals on the year.
- The Golden Knights are regionally-ranked sixth in the United Soccer Coaches' East Region poll.
