SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – The Merrimack College women's soccer team will face American International College for a 7 p.m. NE10 contest on the road at Ronald J. Abdow Field on Wednesday night.
Last Time Out
- The Warriors came out on the wrong end of a double-overtime matchup against regionally-ranked Saint Rose, losing 2-1.
- After trailing for most of the contest, senior Victoria Carter (Smithfield, R.I.) scored her third goal of the season, tying the game at one in the 79th minute. However, Saint Rose scored the game-winner in the 104th minute.
- Senior Molly Meehan (Fairfield, Conn.) stopped a season-high seven saves in the contest.
- Freshman Izzy McDonnell (Fall River, Mass.) picked up her second assist and now leads the team with eight points (3g, 2a).
Last Season/Inside the Series vs. AIC:
- Merrimack has a 25-10-0 all-time record against the Yellow Jackets. Last season the Warriors dropped a 1-0 contest at home.
- The last time the Warriors defeated the Yellow Jackets was Oct. 12, 2013 on the road, with a 2-1 victory.
- Seniors Jorgi Adee (Whitinsville, Mass.) and Andrea Rego (Dartmouth, Mass.) are the only two current players with a point recorded against AIC.

- AIC enters the game with a 2-3-1 record and are 1-2-1 in conference play. The Yellow Jackets last time out was a scoreless tie against Southern New Hampshire.
- Linnea Herbertsson leads the team with two goals on 18 shots, while Jennifer Hackett has two assists on the season.
