NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. – The Merrimack College women's volleyball team heads on the road for the first time in nearly three weeks on Tuesday night, when the Warriors travel to Waltham, Mass. to face Bentley University at 7 p.m. from the Dana Center.
Last Time Out:
- The Warriors rallied from a 2-1 deficit on Saturday night, defeating Saint Anselm, 3-2, at Hammel Court for Merrimack's second Northeast-10 Conference victory of the season
- Merrimack was led by senior captain Sofia Basauri, who posted a double-double with a career-high 19 kills and a season-best 10 digs. Basauri hit at a .342 clip, committing six errors on 38 attacks
- Junior Catherine Flaherty and senior Katelynn Marr joined Basauri with double-doubles. The former posted 14 kills and a .364 hitting percentage to go along with 15 digs. The latter totaled career highs in digs (17) and service aces (5), while adding 10 kills
- Junior setter Sydney Buran dished out a career-high 47 assists, while contributing seven digs
- Senior Amanda Cain led the defensive effort with a match-high 19 digs
Mack Facts:
- Merrimack beat Saint Anselm for the first time since Oct. 8, 2015 – which was a three-set win at Hammel Court
- The Warriors picked up their second five-set win of the first, the first year with multiple five-set triumphs for the program since 2016
- The team posted a .241 hitting percentage, which registered as a season high and the second highest over the last two years
- In the NE10, Cain currently ranks ninth in digs per set (3.70) while freshman Sophie Meyers ranks 10th in hitting percentage (.250)

- Merrimack will face former head coach Joey Pacis on Tuesday night when the Warriors and Falcons meet
- Bentley has controlled the all-time series in recent memory, including a pair of 3-0 victories last season
