NEW HAVEN, Conn. – For the second straight game, a second half goal dropped the Merrimack College men's soccer team, losing 1-0 to Southern Connecticut State on Saturday night.

How it Happened
- The Warriors, who haven't tallied a first half goal since September 29th, fought hard through the first 45 minutes of the opening 45 minutes without a score.
- Despite being outshot 5-3 in the first half, the Owls struck first. A low cross in from Lukas Szymecki was tapped in by Ignasi Cererois for the first and only goal of the game.
- The Warriors pounded eight more shots in the second half to no avail. Merrimack finished the game doubling the Owls in shot tally (15-7), but couldn't find the back of the net.

- This is the first time all season where the Warriors have lost three straight games.
- Despite being shutout in the last two games, the Warriors have outshot its opponents in both games; Saturday, the Warriors put more shots on net (5-4) but fell short.
