NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. – With three weeks remaining in the regular season, the third-ranked Merrimack College field hockey program heads to Saint Michael's College on Tuesday afternoon for a 3 p.m. Northeast-10 Conference date with the Purple Knights. The contest will be played at Duffy Field in Colchester, Vt.

Inside the Series:
  • Merrimack owns a 9-1 record over its last 10 games against Saint Michael's, and brings a three-game winning streak over the Purple Knights into Tuesday's game
  • Last season's game against Saint Michael's saw Merrimack win, 4-1. Seniors Mary McNeil and Delaney Yule notched assists in the win while junior Katharina Ohmen made nine saves in net
Five Things to Know:
  • With a win on Saturday over Southern Connecticut, the Warriors increased their winning streak to 10 games to post the second longest in school history. The 2018 squad now only trails the 17-game the 2011 program enjoyed which included a NE10 Regular Season Championship
  • Pending any changes in tomorrow's poll, Merrimack's current No. 3 ranking in the Penn Month/National Field Hockey Coaches Association Poll is tied for the highest in school history
  • Merrimack continues to be neck-and-neck with No. 4 Pace University in the Northeast-10 Conference standings. The Warriors' 7-0 league record trails on the Setters' 8-0 mark for the top spot in the league
  • McNeil's has continued on her record-setting trend with a team-best 34 points and league-best eight assists. Her 13 goals rank fourth in the conference, while she rests two helpers shy of setting a new school record
  • Merrimack continues to pace the country in goals per game (4.00), and rank second in total goals (48). The Warriors also lead the land in penalty corners per game with 15.50 and 186 corners, and are outscoring teams by 2.70 goals per contest, the third highest margin in Division II
