NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. – The third-ranked Merrimack College field hockey program will host the Ravens of Franklin Pierce this Friday as part of Homecoming Weekend. The Warriors look to extend their win streak to 12, the second longest streak in program history. Senior Captain Mary McNeil continues to move up in the record books as she is three points shy of breaking into the top five all-time points leaders (111) and currently tied for most career assists (37).

Inside the Series:
  • Merrimack owns a 16-6 record all-time against Franklin Pierce, including 9-1 in its last 10 meetings.
  • Last season, the Warriors split with Franklin Pierce with a 2-0 win early in the season and a 1-2 loss after that. The Warriors topped the Ravens earlier this year, 3-0
Five Things to Know:
  • With a win on Tuesday over the Purple Knights of Saint Michael's, the Warriors increased their winning streak to 11 games to post the second longest in school history. The 2018 squad now only trails the 17-game the 2011 program enjoyed which included a NE10 Regular Season Championship
  • Merrimack is ranked third nationwide for the second consecutive week, which is tied for the highest national ranking ever in school history
  • The Warriors continue to be neck-and-neck with No. 4 Pace University in the Northeast-10 Conference standings. The Warriors' 8-0 league record trails on the Setters' 9-0 mark for the top spot in the league
  • McNeil's has continued on her record-setting trend with a team-best 35 points and league-best nine assists. Her 13 goals rank fourth in the conference, while she rests one helper shy of setting a new school record
  • Merrimack continues to pace the country in goals per game (3.93), and in total goals (52). The Warriors also lead the land in penalty corners per game with 14.54 and 189 corners, and are outscoring teams by 2.80 goals per contest, the second highest margin in Division II
