NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. – The No. 5 Merrimack College field hockey returns home for the first time in over two weeks when the Warriors host Southern New Hampshire University in a 7 p.m. Northeast-10 Conference contest from Merrimack Stadium

Last Time Out:
  • Senior Mary McNeil scored twice, freshman Juliane Ohmen added her second goal in as many games to give Merrimack a 3-0 lead on Saturday at Bentley. The Falcons scored twice in the final 20 minutes, but the Warriors held on for a one-goal NE10 win
  • McNeil surpassed the 100-point total, finishing the day with 100 career points. The Canton, Mass. native became the sixth player ever at Merrimack to reach the century mark, and is just the second player ever to total both 30 career goals and 30 career assists
  • Merrimack's defense limited the amount of shots, and junior goalkeeper Katharina Ohmen only needed to make one save for her seventh win of the year
  • Junior Jessica Palmer contributed one assist, the only Warrior with a helper on the day
'Mack Facts:
  • Merrimack's current six-game winning streak is the longest for the program since an eight-game run during the 2015 season
  • The Warriors are one of two teams without a NE10 loss this season, joining No. 9 Pace University
  • McNeil now will set her eyes on the program assist record. The senior boasts 35 career helpers, needing three more to set a new mark. She currently is tied for the NE10 lead in points (27), ranks first in assists (7) and is tied for second in goals (10)
  • Katharina Ohmen is among the NE10's best statistically, ranking third in goals-against average (1.13) and fourth in save percentage (.804)
  • Merrimack's maintained its national lead in goals per game (4.86), total goals (37) and scoring margin (3.75). Merrimack also leads the nation in penalty corners per game (17.29), and ranks second in assists per game (3.00)
Inside the Series:
  • Since SNHU debuted as a program in 2014, Merrimack owns a 4-1 record against the Penmen.
  • Last season, Merrimack topped the Penmen, 4-1. McNeil posted a four-point effort (1G, 2A) while junior Lindsey Nolte and sophomore Colleen Ellis also contributed points. Katharina Ohmen made five saves in the win
  • Tuesday will be the third meeting between the programs and the first at Merrimack Stadium. The Warriors are 1-1 against the Penmen at home
