Five Things To Know
- Merrimack finished the month of October with two victories but was a few bounces of the puck away from finding itself in the win column more often, as all but two of the seven games the Warriors played last month were one-goal games.
- Merrimack is tied for the nation lead with one-goal games played; only New Hampshire has played as many one-goal affairs (5) as Merrimack has.
- Junior Tyler Irvine owns the team lead in scoring with six points; he has recorded a point in all but two of the team's first seven games. After not lighting the lamp in his first two seasons as a Warrior, junior Patrick Kramer is the team's lead goal-scorer with three tallies after he potted a pair in last Saturday's game against UMass. It was his first-ever multi-goal game. Irvine and junior classmate Logan Coomes have both recorded four assists for the team lead in that category.
- Senior Craig Pantano has started six of the team's seven games so far; he owns a 2-4-0 record in those starts with a .913 save percentage and 2.43 goals against average.
- This weekend's opponent, Boston College, has had a rough go of it out of the gate. The Eagles have just five goals in four games and have been shut out three times in that span, including a 7-0 blanking against Saint Cloud State last Thursday.
