NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. – The Merrimack College men's ice hockey team resumes league play when it takes on No. 9 Providence College in a home-and-home series starting Friday night at Lawler Rink. The two teams will round out the series at Schneider Arena on Saturday at 7 p.m.

EARLY on game nights. The Lawler Rink security staff reserves the right to check
ALL bags and ask guests to leave inappropriate or prohibited items in their car or outside of the gates.
All guests are subject to search.
Please note the following parking restrictions for Saturday night's game:
- Lot F (MAC) is reserved for BLUE LINE CLUB MEMBERS ONLY.
- Lot G (Deegan/Fenton Road) is reserved for GAME DAY STAFF ONLY.
- Fans are encouraged to park in Lot H (Sakowich) or Lot M (Athletics District)!

Merrimack is pleased to announce that beer and wine sales will be available at Lawler Rink this season!
Open to all patrons of legal drinking age (21+), beer and wine stations will be available both in the DiCroce Family Lobby (the main Box Office lobby on game days), as well as the Hall of Fame Lobby on the opposite end of Lawler Rink. Both locations will open one hour before puck drop and will close at the end of the second intermission.
A valid game ticket is required for access to either location.

Five Things To Know
- Merrimack split its long road trip out to Bemidji State after a 1-0 shutout victory last Saturday, bouncing back from an 8-3 loss the night before, which marked the first time the team allowed eight goals in a game in 13 years, the last time occurring on Feb. 11, 2005 at Boston College. Merrimack picked up its third shutout win of the season on Saturday, all of which have come from senior Craig Pantano.
- The Warriors are now 4-3 in games after losses this year. They have not lost more than two straight games but have also not yet won consecutive games.
- Merrimack leads the nation in one-goal games played, having done so seven times. New Hampshire and UMass Lowell also have played seven one-goal games.
- Four of Merrimack's top-five scorers are juniors, headlined by Tyler Irvine's eight points (4g, 4a). Logan Coomes and Johnathan Kovacevic lead the team with five assists, while Irvine leads the team with four goals. Freshman Chase Gresock ranks fourth on the team in scoring with a goal and four helpers.
- Merrimack's opponent this weekend, Providence, is a familiar one, as the Warriors have played the Friars more than any other team in program history. The Friars are looking to bounce back after suffering a two-game sweep against UMass last week.
