MIDDLETON, MASS. – The Merrimack College men's tennis program improved to 6-0 in Northeast-10 Conference play with an 8-1 victory over Assumption College on Saturday afternoon from the Northeast Tennis Center in Middleton, Mass. The Warriors sit atop the NE10 standings with three matches remaining in the regular season

- The Warriors moved through doubles swiftly, winning all three flights. Seniors Mikhail Belov and Frank Vega improved to 6-2 as a duo and 2-0 in NE10 play with an 8-4 triumph at No. 1. Junior Alex Fedorov picked up his sixth NE10 win in as many matches in the doubles venue, while maintaining a 4-0 mark with sophomore partner Denis Davydov by claiming the second flight, 8-5
- Junior Tyler Clontz and sophomore Paul Weidinger won No. 3 in just nine games (8-1), winning the first match of the day
- In singles, Belov won his second straight three-set match, 6-4, 5-7 and 10-4, over Ryan Foster to improve to 6-0 at No. 1. Fedorov dropped just one game in each set (6-1, 6-1) at No. 3, keeping his undefeated NE10 ledger intact (6-1)
- Davydov dispatched his foe at second singles (6-3, 6-3) and Clontz won by identical set scores at No. 5. Weidinger dominated the final flight, winning No. 6 in shutout fashion (6-0, 6-0)
