Highlights
NORTH ANDOVER, Mass.  – The Merrimack College softball team split with Pace University Sunday, winning game one 5-1, before falling in game two, 6-1, at Martone-Mejail Field in Northeast-10 Conference action.

Rapid Recap (Game One)
- The Warriors took an early 2-0 lead in the opening inning. Sophomore Tiffany Mangiameli and senior Alyssa Williamson both reached with singles, before a both runners stole a bag to get into scoring position. Junior Caitlin McBride doubled to left center to score both runners.
- Senior Megan Cook retired the Setters in order in the second and third, before Pace cut the lead in half in the fourth.
- Merrimack put up four runs in the fifth, with the big hit coming from Williamson, scoring junior Nicole Nanof and Mangiameli.
- Cook allowed three base runners in the final two innings, but got a lineout to the mound to end the game.
Rapid Recap (Game Two)
- The story in game two was Pace starter Jackie Flores, who pitched six straight innings of shutout ball. She got run support in the first on a sacrifice fly, before the Setters scored four runs in the fourth.
- The big hit came in the fourth with the bases loaded and two outs. Niyah Brown scored two runners with a two-out single to give her team a 5-0 lead. Pace added a run in the fifth.
- The Warriors would not go quietly, loading the bases in the seventh. A walk to freshman Zoe Driscoll-Sbar brought home McBride, but that's all Merrimack would get.

- Cook's Line: (7.0 IP, 6 H, 1 R, 1 ER, 3 BB, 2 K)
- Cook set a new career-high for wins in a single season, with her 12th win of the year.
- Williamson got her ninth two-hit game of the year and 14th multi-hit game of the season.

- Soraghan's line: 3.1 IP, 4 H, 4 R, 4 ER, 2 BB, 2 K
- Williamson extended her hitting streak in game two, hitting safely in five games, along with Cook. Nanof picked up a hit in the last four games.
- McBride was the lone Warrior with two hits in the game.
