- The doubles point was decided at the second flight after the visitors won the top flight, and juniors Denis Davydov and Alex Fedorov prevailed at No. 3 (6-2). The freshmen pairing of Jonathan Garcia and Conrad Koch outlasted the Wildcats, 7-6, the give the Warriors a 1-0 lead
- Merrimack claimed every singles match except at No. 5. Senior Frank Vega won in straight sets at second singles (6-1, 6-3), while Davydov prevailed at the first flight in three sets to give Merrimack wins over Daemens top-two options
- Rookies won the other three matches for the Warriors, with every match finishing in two sets. Garcia triumphed at No. 3 (6-3, 6-2), freshman Alec Mackay Rodriguez won at No. 4 (6-3, 6-1) and Koch emerged victories at No. 6 (6-4, 6-2)
