NEWTON, Mass. – The Merrimack College men's soccer program battled to a blank-score with their in state foe Boston College.  With the tie, the Warriors move to 3-3-2 on the season as they head full speed into Northeast Conference (NEC) play later in the week.

The Summary
	- The Warriors best scoring opportunity of the first half came in the 43rd minute after a foul was committed by BC.  Senior Sebastian Toro had a free kick go off the crossbar and out of bounds
 
	- Grad student Lucas Rezende had five first half saves to keep Merrimack in the game.
 
	- In the 73rd minute Merrimack freshman Marc Torrellas ripped a corner into the box that was headed high by senior Mirko Nufi
 
	- In the final minute of regulation sophomore Gianluca Arlotti fired a cross to senior Aasmund Joedahl who headed the ball over the crossbar  
 
	- The Warriors outshot the Eagles 5-3 in overtime, but failed to find the back of the net

	- Rezende had five saves on the night on the way to his 20th shutout of his career
 
	- Junior Filippo Begliardi Ghidini and sophomore Henry Osei each had a shot on goal for the Warriors
 
	- BC lead in corners by the count of 11-6
