NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. – The Merrimack College field hockey team looks to maintain an undefeated record in Northeast Conference (NEC) play when the Warriors compete in two league tilts this weekend. The Warriors' first game will be played against Rider University at Ounjian Field on the campus of Tufts University on Friday at 7 p.m. They will follow-up with another conference game against Sacred Heart on Sunday at Johnson Field in New Haven, Conn. The start time is set for 3 p.m.

  • The Warriors have eight different players who have scored goals this season, with nine total goals on the season
  • Senior goalkeeper Katharina Ohmen enters the contest leading the NEC in saves per game with a 10.90 average and also ranks second in the conference with a .784 save percentage, trailing the leader by only one-one hundredth of a percent.
  • Rider is also 1-0 in NEC play with their 4-1 victory over Wagner last Friday
  • Sacred Heart has lost its last eight games against Division I opponents
