Women’s Soccer Takes Tough Road Loss at LIU

BROOKVILLE, New York—The Merrimack women's soccer team took a tough road loss in NEC play, falling to 4-0 to the Long Island University Sharks on Sunday.

• The Sharks started off the scoring early with a lead in the 5^th minute with a goal by Julia Duffy, who would go on to score again in the 29^th minute.  
• LIU posted two more goals late in the second half, tallying in the 66^th minute and 79^th minute.
• Merrimack fired ten shots and six shots on goal in the match but were unable to get anything through LIU.

• Five Warriors earned shots on goal, with starter Hallie Shiers earning two shots on goal.
• Year Katelyn Richardson and year Patricia Pallotta getting shots on goal off the bench.  
• Both goalkeepers earned a half in goal, handling a barrage of shots. Erin Fulton faced nine shots, while Megan Langlois faced four shots.
