NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. – The Merrimack College women's volleyball team will host Central Connecticut State University as part of Homecoming Weekend tomorrow afternoon. The match will be played at Hammel Court and will start at 3 p.m.
Five Things to Know:
- Merrimack plays its second home match in as many contest and is in the midst of a stretch of four matches at home over its next five; Tuesday's matcha against Bryant was the first home Division I match in school history
- On the offensive end, senior Catherine Flaherty led Merrimack on Tuesday night with eight kills and a near-.400 hitting percentage. She's Merrimack's top attacking player to date, totaling 76 kills on the year
- Sophomore Sophie Meyers leads the team in blocks with a total of 11 on the season, including a 3 block game against Lafayette. Freshman Taylor Czech has been great defensively this year totaling 86 digs already this season, leading the team
- This will be the first-ever Division I meeting between the schools
- Central Connecticut most recently defeated NEC foe Fairleigh Dickinson, 3-0

The Warriors will travel to Smithfield, R.I. to take on Bryant once again in a NEC match that will take place at Chase Athletic Center. The start time is scheduled for 6 p.m. next Friday.
