NORTH ANDOVER, Mass – The Merrimack College men's soccer team begins its weekend with a conference clash against Central Connecticut on Friday. The game will be taking place at the CCSU Soccer Field at 6 p.m. The Warriors will then return home for a Sunday game against conference opponent Fairleigh Dickinson at Martone-Mejail Field at 2 p.m.
On Friday, the Warriors could clinch at least a share of the Northeast Conference (NEC) regular season title with a win and a Long Island University loss to Robert Morris. If Merrimack clinches the title it would be it's first DI regular season championship in school history.

- Sophomore Tola Showunmi scored his fourth goal of the season last game against Mount St. Mary's tying him for the team lead in that category with senior Aasmund Joedahl and junior Filippo Begliardi Ghidini
- Graduate Student Lucas Rezende ranks 1st in the NEC in save percentage with a .823 mark.
- Central Connecticut will look to get their first win of the season, after losing their last 10 games
- Fairleigh Dickinson most recently defeated Saint Francis Brooklyn 4-3 in OT.\
- This will be the first time Merrimack has play either team in men's soccer
