NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. – The Merrimack College men's ice hockey team opens up a home-and-home series with No. 14 UMass Lowell on Friday at the Tsongas Center. Puck drop is set for 7:15 p.m. The two teams then wrap up the series on Saturday night back at Lawler Rink, with puck drop set for 7 p.m. Saturday's game will also double as Senior Night.

EARLY on game days. The Lawler Rink security staff reserves the right to check
ALL bags and ask guests to leave inappropriate or prohibited items in their car or outside of the gates.
All guests are subject to search.
Please note the following parking restrictions for all games:
- Lot F (MAC) is reserved for BLUE LINE CLUB MEMBERS ONLY.
- Lot G (Deegan/Fenton Road) is reserved for GAME DAY STAFF ONLY.
- Fans are encouraged to park in Lot H (Sakowich) or Lot M (Athletics District)!

Merrimack is pleased to announce that beer and wine sales will be available at Lawler Rink this season!
Open to all patrons of legal drinking age (21+), beer and wine stations will be available both in the DiCroce Family Lobby (the main Box Office lobby on game days), as well as the Hall of Fame Lobby on the opposite end of Lawler Rink. Both locations will open one hour before puck drop and will close at the end of the second intermission.
A valid game ticket is required for access to either location.

Five Things To Know
- Merrimack will be meeting UMass Lowell for the first time since sweeping last year's Hockey East Tournament Opening Round best-of-three series. The Warriors took three of four games against the River Hawks last season; in addition to their postseason series sweep, they also split a home-and-home weekend in the regular season.
- After winning three straight at one point in January, Merrimack has gone winless in its last seven games since then (0-6-1).
- Merrimack has been outscored by 22 goals (33-11) in its last seven games.
- Five of Merrimack's top-seven scorers are juniors, but rookie Chase Gresock leads the way with a team-high 20 points and nine goals, with 11 of those points coming in the last nine games. He is followed on the scoresheet by juniors Tyler Irvine (6g, 12a), Johnathan Kovacevic (4g, 11a), Sami Tavernier (3g, 9a), Patrick Kramer (5g, 5a) and Logan Coomes (2g, 7a). Senior Derek Petti is also up to 12 points on the year (5g, 7a), while Kovacevic is the team's top-scoring defenseman.
- Merrimack will take on a UMass Lowell squad that sits in a tie for second place in the league standings a 10-game unbeaten streak. That run, however, ended last weekend when the River Hawks were swept in a two-game home-and-home series against Providence, as they were outscored by six goals over that stretch.
