WEST HAVEN, Conn.  – The Merrimack College softball program suffered a pair of defeats Sunday, playing its only doubleheader of the weekend at the University of New Haven on the afternoon. Senior
Kristina Terrazzano broke up a no-hitter in game one, helping the Warriors put up two late runs before falling 4-2. In game two, the Warriors mustered just one run on four hits, falling 4-1. Â

Rapid Recap (Game One)
- Starter Bridget Soraghan went 2.2 innings before giving up the game's first run. After allowing a walk and a single, Mya Case doubled to right field, making it 2-0 in the bottom of the third.
- Rachael Crafts put the third Charger run of the game on the scoreboard in the bottom of the sixth inning. After freshman Jenna Wike took over in the circle with a runner on second, Crafts drove a ball up the middle to make it 3-0. Haleigh Polisano drove in another, scoring Crafts from second.
- After being no-hit through 6.1 innings, senior Kristina Terrazzano delivered a single to right field. With Nicole Nanof walking and taking second one batter before, the game's first hit doubled as the first run, cutting the Charger lead to three.
- After a walk put runners on first and second, senior Hannah Johnson belted a ball through the left side of the infield, scoring Terrazzano from second and cutting the lead in half.
Rapid Recap (Game Two)
- After not scoring until the seventh inning of game one, the Warriors put a run on the board in the top of the first inning in game two. Kelly Dovi, Caitln McBride, and Lucy Colarusso all singled before sophomore Zoe Driscoll-Zbar knocked in pinch-hitter Jenna Bradish with a single to make it 1-0.
- The Chargers tied the game in the bottom of the first with a run of its own. Melissa Bike singled, scoring leadoff hitter Sierra Whitlock to make it 1-1.
- The Chargers scored once more in the second inning. With runners on second and third and two outs, a wild pitch scored Catherine Vaughan to retake the lead.
- Two more runs touched the dish in the bottom of the third inning. A two-run double to left field off the bat of Madison Derosia gave the hosts a three-run lead, and eventually a 4-1 victory.
