GARDEN CITY, N.Y. – For the fifth time overall in the 2018-19 season and fourth time during the program's current seven-match winning streak, the Merrimack College men's tennis team won by way of the shutout in league action, 7-0, on Wednesday afternoon at Adelphi University in Northeast-10 Conference play. Including the triumph over the Panthers, five of the Warriors' six league wins this season have won without dropping a single point.
Merrimack now shifts its attention to Saturday's showdown with fellow undefeated Southern New Hampshire in a rematch of last season's NE10 Championship match. Both the Warriors and Penmen were ranked in Wednesday's first NCAA Division II East Regional ranking; SNHU was ranked second in the eight-team poll while the Warriors arrived in fourth.
