NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. – The Merrimack College women's soccer team competes in the TD Bank Classic this weekend hosted by the University of Vermont. The Warriors face the University of New Hampshire on Friday at 4:30 p.m. before facing the host Catamounts on Sunday at 1 p.m. Both games will be played at UVM's Virtue Field
Last Time Out:
- Merrimack began its Division I era on Sunday with a good showing against the defending America East Regular Season Champions; the Warriors fell to the University of Hartford, 1-0, on Sunday at Martone-Mejail Field
- The Warriors' goalie tandem of senior Erin Fulton and Meghan Langlois impressed, combing for eight saves. Fulton played the first 45 minutes, totaling five stops. Langlois registered three saves including a pair of diving stops in the second half
- The only goal Merrimack conceded was via a penalty kick
- The Warriors played an even second 45 minutes, totaling four shots compared to Hartford's five. Sophomore Erin Tyldesley led the team with a pair of attempts on goal
