NORTH ANDOVER, Mass – The Merrimack College men's soccer team has started off the season fast, claiming two victories in its first two games. They look to continue their hot start as they travel to Kingston, R.I. to face off against the University of Rhode Island at the URI Soccer Complex on Friday. The kickoff is set for 7 p.m., and will be aired on ESPN+.

- The Warriors have won their first two Division I contests, topping Northeastern University (2-1) and most recently Boston University by a 3-0 margin
- The offense for the Warriors has been hot, netting a total of five goals by five different players. Sophomore Stefano Pesenti paces the team with three points
- Graduate student Lucas Rezende has an impressive (.875) save percentage through the first two games
- This will be the first-ever matchup between Merrimack and Rhode Island
- The Rams recorded their first win of the season against Providence on Monday, 2-1
