NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. – The Merrimack College women's tennis team improved to 2-0 on the 2019-20 season on Friday when the Warriors topped visiting Connecticut College, 7-0, in a non-conference match played at North Andover High School.

- Merrimack swept doubles to take a 1-0 lead into singles. The Warriors' No. 2 pairing of sophomore Rosemary Campanella and freshman Kelly Klaren registered a dominant 8-1 win to highlight the performance
- All six singles matches finished in straight sets. Campanella impressed again, combining to drop just two games in a 6-1, 6-1 triumph at the second flight
- Classmate Kristina Calistro registered a two-set win at No. 1, 6-2 and 6-2. Freshman Allyson Nerf mirrored her teammate in her first set (6-2) before closing third singles with a 6-4 victory
- Klaren dropped just a single game in the set to sweep fourth singles. Sophomore Hope Salts (6-2, 6-1) and senior Mia Briggs (6-3, 6-1) picked up wins at No. 5 and No. 6, respectively
