NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. – The Merrimack College women's basketball team has rattled off five wins in a row against Northeast Conference (NEC) competition. The Warriors are now in third place in the conference, one game behind Mount St. Mary's for second. Sacred Heart is currently 5-8 in NEC play heading into the weekend.
The game was originally slated for 5 p.m., but due to a scheduling conflict the game time had to be changed to 12:30 p.m..

Five Things to Know:
- Senior Denia Davis-Stewart is leading the conference in points (18.0) and rebounds (13.1). She is the only player in the conference that is averaging double figures in both points and rebounds. The senior forward also has 100+ more rebounds then anyone else in the conference. Davis-Stewart also has 104 blocks on the season, which is 60 more then anyone else in the NEC.
- Sophomore guard Kate Mager is having a great season shooting the three ball. Mager has knocked down 68 shots from long range, which is eight more then anyone in the NEC. The New City, N.Y. native is also leading the conference in 3-point percentage shooting the ball at a 44% clip.
- Freshman point guard Jayme DeCesare continues to have a stellar first season with the Warriors handling the ball. She has 80 assists through 25 games and only 41 turnovers. DeCesare also has 27 steals on the season, which puts her second on the team.
- The Warriors are leading the NEC in three-point field goal percentage (.364) and three-point field goal percentage defense (.260).
- Sacred Heart is currently 8-16 on the season, which includes going 5-8 in NEC play. Junior Adrianna Hagood is leading the team in scoring with 16.8 points per game.
