HAVERHILL, Mass. - The Merrimack College men's tennis team fell to Fairleigh Dickinson Friday night, snapping their four-game winning streak. The Warriors looked to extend their winning streak before heading off to Puerto Rico for some spring break match play, but ultimately fell 6-1.

- Merrimack battled hard in three close games in the doubles matches. Senior Denis Davydov and classmate Alex Fedorov were able to pull out a comfortable 6-2 victory at the top flight. Sophomores Jonathan Garcia and Alec Mackay Rodriguez lost in a close one, 6-7 at the No. 2 doubles spot, while Sophomore Conrad Koch and Freshman Pedro de Godoy Mancini were edged as well, 5-7 at No. 3 doubles. The Knights managed to pull out two wins to earn the doubles point.
- Rodriguez gave the Warriors their only singles win of the night, gritting out a three-set win. In the sixth position for singles, Rodriguez was able to pull out a 7-6 victory in the final set, earning a point for Merrimack.
- The Warriors fell in close matches at No. 1 through No. 5 singles, which ultimately resulted in a 6-1 loss.
