NEW BRITAIN, Conn. – The Merrimack College men's cross country team participated in the Central Connecticut State Mini Meet this Saturday while racing in a 5k format. The Warriors were led once again by freshman,
Ryan Dyer, who continues to excel in this fall.
This meet was against 12 other opponents including: Yale, Central Connecticut, Providence, UMass Lowell, UNH, Bryant, Quinnipiac, Siena, Holy Cross, Fairleigh Dickinson, and St. Francis (N.Y.)

How It Happened:
- Dyer once again led the pack for Merrimack as the first year ran another great race. The Greenville, R.I. native sprinted his way to a 15:27 time which was good enough for 24th place out of 91 total runners.
- Finishing in second place for the Warriors was mainstay, TJ Corliss. The senior captain capped off his day with a 37th place finish due to a 15:46 final time.
- Finishing third for Merrimack was sophomore, Ben Chase, who finished right behind his captain with a final time of 15:48 which placed him in 38th.

Merrimack will see action again next weekend, as the best of the best of the NEC compete in the NEC Championship's from New Britain, Connecticut.
