Location: New Britain, Conn. | Stanley Quarter Park
What They Said:
Head coach
Chris Cameron: "I was pleased by the way we finished up the season and we definitely out performed our preseason rank of 7
th in the conference. We're not going to take a little bit of time off before we start our first indoor meets come December."
How It Happened:
- The captain led by example this weekend as Corliss capped off a great race with an 8th place finish out of 93 finishers. The senior crossed the finish line with a 26:16 time to conclude an excellent fall season.
- The freshman, Dyer, concluded his race today just six spots behind Corliss as he finished in 14th place with a time of 26:46. Dyer has a lot to build off of going into the short offseason to get better.
- Both the times set by Corliss and Dyer got them the honor of being named All-Conference athletes for the fall season.
- Another underclassmen with promising upside is sophomore, Ben Chase, who finished shortly behind his running mate, Dyer, with a time of 27:02 which was good enough for 18th place.
