MacLean Runner-Up For Hockey East Sportsmanship Award

LEAGUE RELEASE
 
WAKEFIELD, Mass. – Junior defenseman Julia MacLean was named the runner-up to the Hockey East Association's Sportsmanship Award, as announced by the league on Friday.

MacLean played in 15 games in the all-conference schedule, taking the bulk of the minutes for the Warriors blueline. The Medfield, Mass. native, did not commit any penalties during the season and earned three assists on the year. She finished the season fifth in Hockey East in blocked shots with 33.

Winning the award was Vermont's Olivia Kilberg, who ended her four-year career without taking a penalty. Hockey East also announced the members of the All-Rookie team, Best Defenseman, Best Defensive Forward, Scoring Champion and the PNC Bank Three Stars Award.
