NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. – The Merrimack College field hockey team came alive in the second half Sunday afternoon at Duane Stadium, but was unable to complete the comeback in a 4-1 defeat at the hands of Central Michigan. Â
Katelyn Bennett scored her second goal in as many games as part of a third quarter onslaught from the hosts, but the Chippewas' three-goal second quarter proved to be too much to overcome.
