NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. – Merrimack men's soccer fell at home against Northeastern on Friday, despite a dominant offensive effort on home turf.

The Summary

• Merrimack got on the board in the fourth minute to set the tone for the match. Frantz Pierrot was fouled in the box, earning the Warriors a penalty. Captain Mirko Nufi stepped up to the spot and chipped in an arching shot over the keeper for the lead.
• The Warriors defense was crucial against four corner kicks for the Huskies in the first half, standing tall against Northeastern's services.
• Northeastern tied the match up in the 59' on a long pass through the midfield, finishing on a shallow shot in the box.
• Five minutes later, the Huskies found the eventual game-winning goal that stayed just inside the far post for the tally.
