The Merrimack Warriors women's hockey team was defeated on Friday night at Lawler Rink by the #3/3 ranked Northeastern Huskies by a score of 5-0.
Merrimack fell behind early, when Northeastern scored on a shorthanded goal at 5:12 of the first.
Emma Gorski made 16 saves in the first period.
Northeastern added their second and third in quick succession scoring twice in one minute and 13 seconds.
Emma Gorski once again made 16 saves in the second.
Northeastern once again struck twice in quick succession with one goal being on the power play, scoring their fourth and fifth goals in fast fashion at 5:37 and 7:55 of the third period respectively.
Emma Gorski for the third straight made 16 saves in the final period.
