Three Second Half Goals Gives Men’s Soccer Win Over Sacred Heart

NORTH ANDOVER, MA - The Merrimack College Warriors notched their 7th win of the seasontheir 4th in conference with a complete 3-0 victory over the Sacred Heart Pioneers, on Sunday. 
 
The Rundown 
 
Merrimack: 3 (7-6-2, 4-2-1) Sacred Heart: 0 (5-8-1, (3-3-1)
  •  Johan Feilscher scored the first goal for the Warriors at the 61 minute mark in the second half.
  • A minute after Feilscher's goal, Min Jun Jang scored his first goal of the season, with an assist from Juri Schlingmann, bringing the Warriors to 2-0 over the Pioneers.
  • Merrimack would add their third of game with just over 21 minutes left in the game when Alessandro Negri scored his first collegiate goal at 69:08.
     
Top performers/Notes
  •  Feilscher scored his seventh goal of the season, and lead the team with most shots on goal with two. ​​​​​​
  • Schlingmann picked up two assists in the game.
  • Jun Jang and Alessandro Negri both earned their first goals of the season. 
  • Alvaro Rodriguez recorded his seventh clean sheet of the season, recording sixth saves on the night and Lukas O'Grady having one save to shut out the Pioneers.
