NORTH ANDOVER, MASS - The Merrimack College Warriors women's hockey team rolled to a 4-0 shutout victory against the Holy Cross Crusaders, on the back of three second period tally's Friday night in Worcester.

The first period was scoreless but the Warriors would weather the storm, with Emma Gorski making 3 saves in the first 20 minutes.

Madison Oelkers put the Warriors in front on the point when she would score just ten seconds into the five on four.

Merrimack would double the lead with six to play in the second period when Alexa Pongo scored of an initial point shot from Payten Evans.

The Warriors would get a third goal just over two minutes later when Emily Oosterveld would score on a shot that went low glove side with 4:21 to play in the period.

Allison Reeb continued her hot streak with her third goal in three games as she stretched the lead to 4-0 just 1:07 into the final frame.

Merrimack would close out the win and shutout in the remainder of the game.

Madison Oelkers and Emily Oosterveld scored their first goals of the season.
Alexa Pongo scored her third of the year.
Oosterveld would also tally an assist.
Allison Reeb scored her third in three games and had an assist.
Payten Evans and Sophie McKinley would tally their first career points in the win, both were assists.
Bree Bergeron,Hayley Chang, Hannah Corneliusen, Raice Szott would also get assists as well.
Alexa Pongo scored her third of the year.
