AMESBURY, Mass. –
Merrimack College men's hockey sophomore goaltender,
Hugo Ollas, was named the Hockey East Goaltender of the Week, as announced by the league office Monday afternoon.
In his last start, Ollas made 35 saves as the Warriors defeated the University of Massachusetts Minutemen by a score of 2-1 on December 7th. This is Hugo's second award this year as he recently captured the Hockey East goaltender of the month award in November.
The Warriors are off for the next few weeks and return to action on December 30th in Dartmouth.
