LEWISBURG, PA. – The Merrimack College men's basketball team lost its final non-conference game of the season on Sunday afternoon to Bucknell University 61-55.
Ziggy Reid was the game's leading scorer with 20 points after hitting eight shots from the field.
Jordan Minor had nine points, five rebounds and a tied career high eight blocks.
Mykel Derring had six points after knocking down two threes. The Warrior defense had 14 steals, including five from Minor.

- After a Bison bucket, Minor got the Warriors going on a great post move in the paint. Both teams were trading scored until Reid broke through with his first three of the afternoon, putting Merrimack up by one. Minutes later, Devon Savage hit a three, putting the Warriors up four. Bucknell batted back to cut the lead down to one. Derring then hit a three to put Merrimack back up four. With four minutes to play in the first half Savage took the ball to the hoop and scored on a layup. The Bison then went on a seven-point run for flip the game and go up three. Jordan Derkack hit a jumper to slice the lead to one. After a Bucknell three, Reid hit a jumper as time expired to send the Warriors into halftime down two.
- Reid found the bottom of the net with a jumper to start off the second half, tying the game at 23. The Bison then scored six points in a row going up six. Reid hit a three to cut the lead in half. With 16 minutes to play the Warriors were down by four. Bucknell then scored 10 unanswered points to go up by 14. Jaylen Stinson stopped the run with a three. Reid hit another three with 10 minutes to play to cut it down to 10. With four minutes left in the game Stinson hit a jumper to get the lead down to nine. Derring and Jordan McKoy both knocked down shots from deep to make it a one possession game with two and a half minutes to play. Good free throw shooting by the Bison at the end of the game gave them the lead by six.

- This was Reid fourth 20+ point game of the season.
- Minor was one point, two blocks, five rebounds and five steals away from a quadruple double.
