NORTH ANDOVER MASS- The Merrimack College Warriors women's soccer team extended their unbeaten streak, to 3 straight games and opened their conference play schedule with a hard fought, come from behind, 2-1 win against the St. Francis Brooklyn Terriers on Thursday night at Martone-Mejail Field.

Rapid Recap
- Merrimack found themselves on the back foot early in this game, going down 1-0 just under three minutes into the contest, but Merrimack was given a major boost when at just over the 13 minute mark, Isabelle Gollette received a straight red card, following a hard foul.
- Despite the one player advantage the Terriers made it tough for Merrimack to break down their defense, combine with their ability to keep the clock moving and retain possession as St. Francis Brooklyn led at the halftime break.
- Just 11 minutes into the second half Merrimack was able to get the equalizer that based on the run of play was wholeheartedly deserved as Rebecca Harty found the back of the net with an assist from Caleigh Christensen.
- As the game ticked down to the final third of time remaining, Merrimack's continued push on the St Francis Brooklyn defense was just too much, as Molly Murnane received a terrific through pass from Abigail Cieri, as she used her speed to get past the defense and the hard charging goalkeeper Klil Keshwar, to put in Merrimack up for good with just under nine minutes to play.
- With the go ahead goal secure, the Warriors were able to control possession and ball placement on the field to simply run out the clock and secure their first conference win.
