NORTH ANDOVER, MASS. – The Merrimack College field hockey team took a loss on Friday afternoon to Northeast Conference foe Wagner College.

- The Seahawks opened the first six minutes of the game with two goals, taking a quick lead. Late in the first quarter Julie Wester and Morgan Chase both had shots on goal for the Warriors. With less then a minute to play in the first quarter Wagner scored again, going up three. Erica Spallone ripped two shots, the first the blocked and the second was saved in the second quarter. Abby Allen had a shot on goal in the tail end of the second quarter that was saved by the Seahawk goalkeeper. Wagner scored three goals in the first 10 minutes of the third quarter to go up by six. Less then a minute into the fourth, the Seahawks scored their seventh goal of the afternoon.

- Merrimack goalkeeper Paige Degeorge finished the game with two saves.
