SMITHFIELD, R.I. – The Merrimack College field hockey let up two goals in the fourth period against Bryant University on Tuesday night. The two goals were enough to give the Bulldogs the win.
Abby Allen had the lone goal for the Warriors in the loss.

- Katelyn Bennett had the first shot of the game for the Warriors, unfortunately the shot was saved by the Bryant goalkeeper. Merrimack goalkeeper Isabelle Gardiner had her first save of the night seven minutes into the first quarter. Allen had a shot on goal in the final three minutes of the first quarter that was saved. With five second to go in the first quarter, Allen scored her first goal of the season to put the Warriors up by one.
- 10 minutes into the third quarter Gardiner had her second save of the game to keep the Merrimack lead at one. Less then a minute into the fourth, Bryant scored its first goal of the game to tie it up. Five minutes later the Bulldogs scored again to take the lead, The two goals would eventually be enough to win the game.

The Warriors get back to action on Sunday when they head to Mass Lowell. Game time is set for 1 p.m.
