NORTH ANDOVER, MASS.– The Merrimack College field hockey team lost a Northeast Conference matchup to Stonehill College on Friday night.

How It Happened
Three minutes into the first quarter the Skyhawks found the back of the net to take an early lead. That would be the score heading into halftime. In the third quarter, both
Julie Wester and
Chloe Agopian had shots that were saved by Stonehill. In the 44th minute the Skyhawks scored again to go up by two. In the fourth,
Katelyn Bennett finally broke through for Merrimack, score the first goal of the game. Agopian had the assist on the goal. The score would stay the same and the Warriors would lose by one.
Notes and Numbers
Brooke Bolduc had three saves in the loss.
Both Bennett and Agopian had three shots. Agopian led the team with three on goal.

The Warriors get back to action on Sunday at the University of New Hampshire on Sunday. Game time is set for 1 p.m.
