NORTH ANDOVER, MASS. – The Merrimack College field hockey team lost its last game of the season on Friday night 5-0.

How It Happened
After no goals through the first 15 minutes, the Stags finally broke through a minute into the second quarter to take a one-goal lead.
Julie Wester fired a shot with five seconds to go before halftime. The shot was saved by the Fairfield goalkeeper. The Stags added two goals in the third quarter to go up by three heading into the fourth. Two more goals in the fourth quarter gave Fairfield a five-goal win.
Notes and Numbers
Wester had the lone shot for the Warriors.
Brooke Bolduc had six saves in the loss.
