HAVERHILL, MASS. – The Merrimack College men's tennis team beat Stonehill College on Saturday afternoon for its first win of the spring season.

- Bhatia Aryaan and Henrik Linderman got the afternoon going with a win in the doubles #1 match 6-3. Charles Robertson and Valentin Riveros added a win in the doubles #2 match 6-4. Daksh Agarwal and Pedro de Godoy Mancini lost the lone match in double #3 by a final score of 6-4.
- Bhatia opened up singles play with a (6-3, 6-2) victory over his opponent from Stonehill. Linderman added a (6-2, 6-2) win over his competitor (6-2, 6-2), giving Merrimack a 4-2 lead. Singer took three sets to get past his opponent in the singles #3 matchup, he would end up winning (4-6, 6-3, 10-6). Charles Robertson would bury his opponent (6-1, 6-1) giving the Warriors a 6-1 victory over the Skyhawks.

Merrimack will return to action against Franklin Peirce University on Sunday. The match will take place at Cedardale starting at noon.
