North Andover, MASS. – The Merrimack College women's lacrosse team was defeated by the University of Massachusetts-Lowell Riverhawks by a score of 13-7 in a comfortable clear day at Duane stadium.

How It Happened
The Riverhawks opened the game with a four goal run before
Georgia Parker fired a shot in to get the Warriors on the board, the first of five goals the Warriors would score in the half.
Taylor Jones, Oilvia Vlades and
Allison Lamphere scored twice in the half, to leave Merrimack down three at the break.
In the third quarter, the Warriors would score two more times with goals from Parker and
Natalie Calkins to cut the lead to four heading into the final frame, before Lowell scored two more times to finish the afternoon's proceedings.

Merrimack heads back on the road for the first of three away contests starting with game against Bryant on Saturday at 3 PM.
