The Warriors got on the board first in the top of the first inning after
Frankie Ferrentino singled home
Christian Gemelli.
Michael Golankiewicz added a double to left in the top of the third, scoring a run and giving Merrimack a two run advantage. The Bonnies battled back in the fourth, scoring two runs to tie the game. Ferrentino laced a double of his own in the top o the fifth, scoring Stephan Santarpia and
Alex Haba, putting the Warriors up by two. Later in the inning reached on a throwing error from the pitcher, which scored the runner from third. Merrimack was now up four.
Ben Nelson then doubled down the line, scoring two runs, giving the Warriors a six run lead. St. Bonaventure added two runs in the bottom of the ninth, but it was not enough. Merrimack would win the game by four.

Ferrentino, Golankiewicz, and Haba all had multi hit games.
Butera threw seven strong inning, allowing just five hits and two earned runs. He struck out one.
Up Next:
Merrimack gets back to action tomorrow afternoon for a double header against the Bonnies. The first game is scheduled for noon.
