SALISBURY, MD – The Merrimack College baseball team clinched a series victory on Sunday afternoon against Maryland Eastern Shore in a 6-3 victory.

The score was tied at zero until the top of the fourth when
Frankie Ferrentino doubled to left, giving the Warriors an early one-run advantage. In the top half of the sixth,
Matthew Chatelle doubled to left, scoring another run for Merrimack.
Christian Gemelli then hit a sac fly to center, scoring another runner from third. The Warriors were up three heading into the bottom half of the sixth. The top half of the seventh rolled around and
Braydon Dolbashian launched a home run to left. Later in the inning Chatelle reached on an error, scoring a runner from third. Merrimack was now up by six runs. The Hawks scored three runs in the eighth, but it was not enough to beat the Warriors on Sunday afternoon.

Gillette hurled a strong seven innings, allowing just two runs on five hits.
Dolbashian now has a team-high five home runs so far this season.
