ANDOVER, MASS. – The Merrimack College baseball team lost game one of its three game series with Wagner College on Thursday afternoon, 9-4.

● After no scoring in the first, the Seahawks scored three runs in the top half of the second inning to take an early lead. Wagner added a run in the third to go up by four.
Matthew Chatelle blasted a two run home run to center to cut the Seahawks lead in half. Wagner scored four runs in the fifth to go up by six runs. In the bottom half of the sixth,
Frankie Ferrentino third home run of the season to chop the lead down to five.
Braydon Dolbashian doubled to right in the sixth, scoring the runner from third and making the Wagner lead four. The Seahawks added a run in the ninth to win the game by five.

Luis Cespedes came in relief and pitched four and a third, allowing just one hit.
Ferrentino led the team with three hits on the afternoon.
