SMITHFIELD, R.I. – The Merrimack College baseball team dropped its non-conference matchup against Bryant University on Wednesday afternoon 8-4.

● The Warriors opened the game in the first with two runs, after a single to left from
Braydon Dolbashian scored two Merrimack runners. The Bulldogs responded with one run in the bottom half of the first to go down by one. Bryant added a run in the second, third, and fourth innings to go up by two.
Alex Haba hit a sac fly in the top of the fifth to score a runner from third, putting Merrimack down by one. The Bulldogs scored four runs in the sixth to take a commanding lead of five.
George Athanasiadis drew a walk with the bases loaded in the top of the eighth to score a run for the Warriors.
