Women's Soccer Plays To A Scoreless Draw Against New Hampshire

Durham, N.H.-   The Merrimack College Warriors women's soccer team played to a scoreless draw against the University of New Hampshire Wildcats on Thursday afternoon.

  • In the first half, the Warriors had three shots on goal, but all three were turned away, while Merrimack goalkeeper Roo Sawyer made four saves. Merrimack's defense also blocked four shots.
 
  • The Warriors had one more shot on goal in the second half, but couldn't take the lead, and Sawyer made three more stops to keep the game scoreless.
