Boston, M.A.—The Merrimack Warriors Women's hockey team fought hard and scored late but couldn't work their way by the Northeastern Huskies as they were defeated by a score of 4-3 on Saturday.

Merrimack struck early, as
Emily Oosterveld scored only 56 seconds into the game. Northeastern would tie the game at the 11:18 mark, but
Solveig Gisler would notch goal number one of her career 41 seconds later. The Huskies would re tie the game almost immediately with a goal 31 seconds later.
Northeastern would take the lead late in the second and would add an insurance marker at the halfway mark of the third.
Natalie Nemes would cut the lead back to one with two minutes left but the Warriors would ultimately run out of time.
