Rider would score early in this one, just over a minute into the contest. The Broncs would score two more before the first period came to a finish. A relatively quiet second period would be capped off with another Rider score at the end to make it 4-0 at the half. The third period was all defense from start to finish with neither team able to score. The Broncs would score three more times in the final period to win it 7-0.
