Romei's Wonder Goal Helps Men's Soccer Draw With Fairfield

North Andover, M.A.-   The Merrimack College Warriors Men's soccer team made it two games unbeaten as they pulled back two one-goal deficits to draw the Fairfield Stags by a score of 2-2 on Wednesday night at Martone-Mejail Field.

Fairfield snagged the lead at the 17 minute mark off of a corner kick but the Warriors would find their equalizer on a free kick as Samuel Biven slotted the ball in the bottom right corner in the 41st minute but the Stags would take the lead back with another goal off of a corner kick right before the half expired.
 
In the second half, Carlo Romei fired a ball from the halfway line that sailed over everyone including the Fairfield goalkeeper to score a wonder goal for the game's tying and final goal.
 



UP NEXT: The Warriors head the road for their final two road games starting with a match against the Marist College Red Foxes on Saturday, October 26th, kickoff is at 3 PM.
